We’ve always believed that getting together with friends is a perfectly good reason to design a room. And if there happens to be a mahjong game involved, all the better.
Our La Femme Den mahjong room, designed for the Mansion in May designer showhouse in Chester, New Jersey, is featured in My Mo-Town’s “Ahead of the Game.” It’s especially fun to see this Morris County project getting a little local love from a Morristown-based magazine.
There’s something especially satisfying about a room with a purpose as simple as this: gather your friends, pull up a chair and stay awhile. We spend so much time thinking about how homes accommodate everyday routines. Making room for the things we actually look forward to deserves just as much attention.
Mahjong night included.
