Toledo Geller is a boutique firm that excels at delivering turn-key, custom residences for singles, couples and families who value exceptional design.

Virginia and Jessica’s approach begins with a deep dive into how each client dreams of living. Getting to know their clients intimately, thoroughly understanding their wish lists and worries, allows Toledo Geller to create a unique, luxury living space that truly reflects who they are—and what they love.

With their mastery of both the design and construction process, Toledo Geller partners with architects and builders from the blueprint stage to completion, providing project management and development oversight. The team works tirelessly to ensure the integrity of each project from start to finish—intent on not just meeting, but exceeding, clients’ expectations.

Toledo Geller was founded over a decade ago and they have been declared House Beautiful’s “Next Wave,” and have been finalists in Innovations in Interior Design, “Ones to Watch” and “Rising Stars” by industry magazines and associations.

TG Team

Virginia Toledo

Virginia Toledo co-founded Toledo Geller in 2006, recognizing a need in the luxury residential market for a firm proficient in both design and construction. Formally trained in interior design and enriched by hands-on experience alongside her general contractor father, Virginia brings a comprehensive understanding of the industry. A Brooklyn native and mother, she enjoys historical fiction and is currently renovating her Tudor Revival home in a lakeside community in New Jersey. When she’s not designing, she loves spending time on the water, taking in the beauty of the lake from her boat.

Jessica Geller

Jessica Geller transitioned from a career in social work to interior design after renovating a children’s hospital playroom—an experience that ignited her passion for the field. She possesses an intuitive design sensibility, both innate and honed through extensive experience, often embracing the “perfectly imperfect” to create harmonious and inviting spaces. A mother of three, Jessica resides in Essex Fells, NJ, where she enjoys transforming her Dutch Colonial home. In her free time, she loves playing tennis and mahjong.

Jen Geller, Client Communication Manager

As Toledo Geller’s Client Communication Manager, Jen is the first point of contact for new clients, guiding them through the firm’s process and ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish. She helps clients articulate their vision and expectations, setting the stage for a smooth collaboration. While the design team works their magic, Jen remains a steady presence, handling all non-design aspects of the partnership so that every client feels supported and informed throughout their journey with Toledo Geller.

Before joining the firm, Jen spent nearly 30 years in advertising sales at marquee companies like Hearst and Refinery29, leading sales and marketing teams and cultivating long-lasting client relationships. Her background in client satisfaction and problem-solving makes her an invaluable asset, bringing a level of corporate professionalism to Toledo Geller’s creative-first team—balanced by her natural enthusiasm and energy.

Outside of work, Jen is a Vinyasa yoga instructor at two studios in NYC, where she fuels her love for movement and mindfulness. Music is another creative passion—she finds joy in curating playlists for her yoga classes, blending new discoveries with nostalgic deep cuts that transport her back to meaningful moments. A fun fact? She’d rather stand on her hands than her feet—which makes perfect sense, considering her dynamic, can-do attitude. And as fate (or subconscious inspiration) would have it, her three sons all share names with Beverly Hills, 90210 characters—Dylan, Noah, and Brandon.

Madeline Van Osten, Design Assistant

As a Design Assistant at Toledo Geller, Madeline plays a key role in supporting projects from start to finish. Whether sourcing materials, drafting designs, managing client communications, or executing orders, she has a hand in every step of the process. Her adaptability and energetic approach make her an essential part of the team, always ready to jump in wherever needed to help bring a vision to life.

Madeline earned her BFA in Interior Design from Pratt Institute and has long been drawn to the building industry. Prior to joining Toledo Geller, she completed several internships that helped shape her understanding of design, space planning, and project execution. One of her favorite parts of the job is visiting clients’ homes, seeing how their personal styles evolve into beautifully curated interiors.

Creativity is the driving force behind Madeline’s personal and professional life. Outside the studio, she channels her artistic spirit through painting, music, writing, and curating unique outfits from thrift stores. She also loves visiting friends in New York City, trying new restaurants, and experiencing live music. Her inspiration comes from the world around her—architecture, fashion, and nature—all of which influence the way people interact with design.
A few fun facts? Madeline spent a year training to become a yoga instructor, traveled to Bolivia for a Habitat for Humanity trip to help build a home for a woman in need, and is a proud dog mom to two pups.

Maya Regan, Junior Designer

Maya Regan brings precision, artistry, and a love of problem-solving to her role as Junior Designer at Toledo Geller. With a background in dance and a BFA in the field, Maya honed her eye for detail and spatial composition long before stepping into the world of interiors. When the pandemic paused her performing career, she channeled her creative energy into design—and hasn’t looked back.

At Toledo Geller, Maya is involved in projects from concept through installation, ensuring that every detail aligns seamlessly to bring the vision to life. She thrives on collaboration and believes the magic happens when a team works in sync to transform ideas into beautiful, livable spaces.

Known for her meticulous nature and creative mindset, Maya treats each project like choreography—carefully crafting every “step” to make the whole shine. She’s endlessly inspired by natural materials and handmade elements that bring soul and texture to interiors.
Outside the studio, Maya and her husband are self-proclaimed restaurant connoisseurs with a love for discovering new spots to eat. They’ve renovated three homes in five years—and with her husband working in real estate, she’s always got an eye on the next fixer-upper.

Process

Toledo Geller creates a stress-free client experience through creative collaboration, thoughtful planning and precise execution.

1. Virtual Discovery Call

We schedule an initial phone call to get a sense of what you are looking for. And a feel for whether or not we are a “fit” for your project.

2. toledo geller experience session

During this in-home, information-gathering session, we will delve deep into your hopes and dreams, discuss the overall design direction for your project and share some big ideas.

3. Next Steps

With a commitment to moving forward together, we’ll hone in on your aesthetic and how your home needs to flow and function.

4. design plan development

We hold creative meetings in our office and on site to hone in on your aesthetic and how your home needs to flow and function. We propose color palettes, textiles, furniture styles and design elements.

After these initial creative meetings we present a detailed design plan and proposal and, once this is finalized, work hand-in-hand with all project professionals to ensure things run smoothly from beginning to final installation.

Our standards are high in both construction and fine finishes, and our longstanding relationships with the finest furniture makers, custom upholsterers, skilled artisans and trusted vendors ensure that our expectations are met.
