Toledo Geller is a boutique firm that excels at delivering turn-key, custom residences for singles, couples and families who value exceptional design.

Virginia and Jessica’s approach begins with a deep dive into how each client dreams of living. Getting to know their clients intimately, thoroughly understanding their wish lists and worries, allows Toledo Geller to create a unique, luxury living space that truly reflects who they are—and what they love.

With their mastery of both the design and construction process, Toledo Geller partners with architects and builders from the blueprint stage to completion, providing project management and development oversight. The team works tirelessly to ensure the integrity of each project from start to finish—intent on not just meeting, but exceeding, clients’ expectations.

Toledo Geller was founded over a decade ago and they have been declared House Beautiful’s “Next Wave,” and have been finalists in Innovations in Interior Design, “Ones to Watch” and “Rising Stars” by industry magazines and associations.

TG Team

Virginia Toledo

Virginia founded Toledo Geller in 2006 after recognizing a need in the luxury residential market for a firm with specialized knowledge in both the design and construction process. Formally trained in interior design, she also gained invaluable experience working along side her father, a general contractor, on construction sites.

A native of Brooklyn, Virginia is a mother who loves historical fiction and entertaining in her 1920’s Craftsman style New Jersey home, which she is constantly updating.

Jessica Geller

The experience of renovating a children’s hospital playroom sparked Jessica’s decision to switch careers from social work to interior design. Her intuitive design sensibility is both innate and learned from experience in the field, and she gravitates towards the perfectly imperfect—such as introducing a color that seems “off” but magically completes the design.

A mother of three, Jessica moved to Essex Fells within a year of renovating her 1850s Hoboken townhouse to embark on transforming a 1920s center hall colonial into the perfect cozy home for spending time with her family.

Janine Colicchio, Junior Designer

Janine serves as the Lead Designers’ “right hand” on any and every aspect of the studio’s projects – from creating concept boards and proposals to lending support on installation days and photoshoots. Following several college internships at women-owned design firms and a stint as a design consultant at Restoration Hardware, she is inspired to be working with and learning from two incredibly successful women and watching them grow their business.

Organized and upbeat, Janine is passionate about art, the interior design industry, and her co-workers, who consistently uplift and support one another. When she’s not in the studio, she can be found watching Star Wars movies with her fiancé, exploring new downtown areas, spending time with family and friends, or enjoying a cup of coffee and a good book with one of her three cats purring on her lap.

Valentina Ruby, Project Manager

Valentina oversees the execution of the interior design projects that TG’s talented team imagines – with plenty of laughs and good humor thrown in. A classically trained graphic designer who achieved her lifelong dream of becoming a creative director, she decided to pivot to her second passion: design/build/renovation.

Favorite things about her job include watching 2D ideas turn into jaw-dropping 3D magic before her eyes; her coworkers; and the office’s Keurig frother. She finds inspiration in nature and the arts and looks for the extraordinary in the ordinary. Passionate about her faith, family, animal rights, earth preservation, and really good dark chocolate, it’s no surprise Valentina enjoys spending downtime with family and friends and hiking with her best pup – followed by a great cup of tea and quiet time with God.

Mary Ann, Project Coordinator

Whatever is needed at the moment, Mary Ann handles it. Her resume includes a successful career working in the A&R departments of Columbia Records and Arista Records and inventing The StrollAway, an over-the door storage hanger for strollers. Loyal and compassionate with a self-deprecating sense of humor, she loves working with the diverse TG team to continuously improve processes and work smarter. Thrilled to be part of and witness the Lead Designers’ creative vision coming to life, she appreciates being in an environment where there is always something new to learn.

A total music nerd, Mary Ann’s inspirations include live music, New York City, the ballet at Lincoln Center, and scrolling through beautiful interiors on Instagram. A mom of three football-playing sons, she’s become a fan by default. She also cooks and rides her bike to unwind.

Linda Ordonez, Architectural Designer

An out-of-the-box problem solver, Linda channels her enthusiasm and creativity into her work as TG’s drafter, site surveyor, and millwork developer. With degrees in Interior and Graphic Design and currently working on her master’s in Architecture, she plays a pivotal role in a firm known for its mastery of both the design and construction process. She enjoys being part of a collaborative team that embraces positivity, honesty, and fun – and a culture that prioritizes fairness, impeccable project outcomes, and the challenge of constantly improving as a company and as individuals.

Linda is inspired by art and architecture and her passions include travel, great food, practicing healthy habits, and music (she loves to sing – regardless of how she sounds!) Off-hours, she listens to podcasts and YouTube and dabbles in bridal styling and event design.

Maya Fedorenko, Interior Design Assistant

Maya supports the TG team in executing each project’s design vision, assisting with everything from the preliminary design phase – including creating mood boards and drafting proposals for client approval – to the final photoshoots. A dance major in college, she shifted gears during the pandemic and earned her Interior Design and Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certifications. Hardworking and full of energy, she is thrilled to be working with other creative women who are as passionate about what they do as she is.

Nature’s organically-generated color schemes and shapes are a big source of inspiration for Maya, who also loves exploring new restaurants and discovering yummy foods. In her downtime you might find her restoring old furniture, watching New Girl on Netflix, or begging her fiance for a puppy!

Divya Vaid, Business Manager

Combining her experience in finance and business development with her passion for real estate and interiors, Divya handles all things operations-related – from HR to finance to project management. Upbeat and creative, she’s a big-picture thinker who relies on her analytical skills when it comes to executing and refining. She loves engaging in work that incorporates every aspect of running a business and allows her to help the talented TG team bring each client’s dream home to life.

Divya believes that life should be experienced to the fullest! Inspired by time spent in nature, she’s passionate about exploring new places, meeting new people, and learning new things by reading, watching YouTube, and listening to podcasts. When she does take time to unwind, she enjoys eating great food and taking long, pretty walks.
